Creekside offers several classes for adults during the 9:00 hour each Sunday morning.   Check it out!

Humility: True Greatness
Led by: Tim Schubert and Mark Szymanski
For: All adults
Where: Fellowship Hall 3

This ten week series will be based on the book of the same name by C.J. Mahaney and extensive scriptural references to pride and humility.  Through this study we will seek the Lord to help us grasp the importance of humility, the danger of pride, the cultural forces at play and how to pursue humility each day.

Acts of the Apostles
Led by: Dustin Heinen and Travis Richardson
For: All adults
Where: Education Annex B & C

Join Travis Richardson and Dustin Heinen on this 20 week study of the book of Acts, the sequel to Luke's gospel. We will discuss the importance of scripture, the person and work of the Holy Spirit, the call to a Christian community, and practice of relational evangelism in our sequential study of this historical account of the early church.

History of the Bible
Led by: Bob Vander Griend
For: All adults
Where: Education Annex D

This ten week study will include how the old and new testaments were  written and assembled as scripture; how the Bible was used during the history of the Christian church; how the Bible was translated into English; and some of the challenges made to the veracity and accuracy of the Bible over the past 2000 years.  This study will also review some of the archeological findings and manuscript studies associated with the history of the Bible.

Homebuilders
Led by:  Steve Gregg and Steve Dorman
For: Parents of elementary-aged children and younger, though anyone is welcome.
Where: Fellowship Hall 1

Meeting in a conversational setting around the big table in the church library, this class will use the book by “Bible Doctrine” by Wayne Grudem, which will provides a solid biblical and theological foundation for living and serving well. This excellent book addresses important questions such as: How do we know the Bible is God’s Word? What is sin and where did it come from? How is Jesus fully God and fully man? What do God’s attributes have to do with daily living?  What is my role in sanctification?  We will address in-depth   issues with emphasis on discussion.
